Pathfinders Featured in our Church Service

On Sabbath morning, January 31, our Pathfinders led out in the worship service Praise Time. They were: Brianna and Jillian Cheever, Brandon Dorn, Tiara Hebert, Amber Piresson, and Fayza Sabry.

After Pastor Frost’s welcome, the twenty-three Pathfinders marched into the sanctuary to the rhythm of “We are the Pathfinders Strong,” played by Donna at the piano. They exhibited beautiful precision under the orders of drill leader Murrell Tull. After placing the American and Christian flags in their holders, the group was seated. Flag bearers were Brianna Cheever and Brandon Dorn.

The invocation was given by Isaac Nwadike and Derek Bihiako. Following the hymn of praise, a stunning PowerPoint production, prepared by Cierra Miller, was narrated by Brandon Dorn and Caleb Burks. It covered the group’s activities throughout the year. Benjamin Nwadike read Jude 20-21 from the Scriptures, and Niccole Brinkley offered the intercessory prayer. The offering appeal was made by Jessica Dlugonski, with the monies going toward Cohutta Springs Convention Center. Amber Piresson did a piano rendition for the offertory as Michael Chung, Jeffrey Green, Luke Rafey, and Brady Tull collected the offering. The children’s story, using Humpty Dumpty as a prop, was done by Jillian Cheever, Lauren Chung, Cierra Miller, and Michael Rafey, followed by a special piano/vocal number by Brianna Cheever and Tiara Hebert

Fayza Sabry introduced the speaker, Rob Lang, Youth Director for the GA-Cumberland Conference. His topic was “More Power.” Following the closing song, Pastor Lang offered the benediction, and the Pathfinders marched from the sanctuary.

Members of the Pathfinder Club are: Brandon Dorn, Tiara Hebert, Amber Piresson, Fayza and Sarah Sabry, Brianna and Jillian Cheever, Isaac and Benjamin Nwadike, Derik Bihiako, Caleb Burks, Niccole Brinkley, Jessica Dlugonski, Lauren and Michael Chung, Cierra Miller, Bryce and Sam Voegele, Daniel Reyes, Michael and Luke Rafey, Brady Tull, and Jeffrey Green. Directors are Lisa and Andy Miller, assisted by Rosanie and Stan Voegele, Susan Burks, and Murrell Tull.

We are so very proud of our young people and grateful to their leaders.
